This afternoon, the Occidental Bohemian Farmers Market wraps up its 2011 season with its fabulous Harvest Festival. The market will, of course, be full of wonderful produce, eggs, grass-fed meat, pastured poultry, flowers and more. But there will also be plenty of little (and big) goblins, ghouls, witches, fairies, princesses, fairy princesses, devils, demons, zombies and vampires, along with contemporary creatures–expect a few Lady Gagas and Harry Potters and a lot of angry birds.

Angry Birds is popular as both a costume and as a carved pumpkin.

The Occidental Bohemian Farmers Market  begins at 4 p.m. and wraps up at sundown in downtown Occidental. The last market of the year is hugely popular so it is a good idea to arrive early to find a convenient parking place.
