Some people, especially those who stop by a farmers market now and then but don’t make it a weekly habit, think that the Petaluma Farmers Market ends with its Halloween parade and festival. That’s not the case. This year, the market continues, rain or shine, through November 19.

This week, you’ll find everything from the last of the season’s tomatoes, glorious peppers and sturdy braising greens to cabbage, grass-fed meats, winter squash, flowers and more. Petaluma Pete will provide entertainment for the market’s final three days.

You can see my detailed post about the Petaluma farmers market in August here. Some of the same foods are still available and most of the vendors are still participating.

The market takes place on Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5:30 p.m. in Walnut Park, at the corner of Petaluma Blvd. South and D Streets.
