In this week’s Mouthful column, I promise to post details about upcoming crab feeds as there are simply too many to include in the column. Here are the ones taking place in the next few days. I’ll continue to add more as they approach.

Several high school crab feeds are among this weekend’s events. Piner High School Boosters Club Crab Feed takes place Friday night from 5 to 9 the Veterans Building (1351 Maple Ave., Santaa Rosa). Cost is $45 per person; for tickets call 836-9735. Proceeds will help fund stadium lights.

Montgomery High Schools’ Crab Feed is on Saturday, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at St. Eugene’s Becker Center (2323 Montgomery Dr., Santa Rosa). The menu includes clam chowder, salad, bread and dessert in addition to cracked Dungeness crab. Tickets are $50 per person; no tickets will be sold at the door. Elsie Allen High School Crab Feed is also on Saturday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living (2075 Occidental Rd., Santa Rosa). Forty dollars per person includes all-you-can-eat crab, salad, pasta and bread. The Elsie Allen Jazz Band will perform and there will be a no-host bar, a silent auction and a raffle. Proceeds benefit school’s safe and sober graduation celebration.

The Ursuline Alumnae Assocation hosts its annual crab feed on Saturday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 4300 Old Redwood Highway, Santa Rosa. The event includes live and silent auctions and benefits the association’s scholarship fund for students attending Cardinal Newman High School. Tickets are $50 per person and are available by calling 246-6457.

The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa West is also hosting their crab feed on Saturday evening at the Friedman Event Center (4676 Mayette Ave.) Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $75 per person and includes all the crab you can eat, an open bar, dancing, music and an auction. Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County’s crab feed takes place at the Windsor Clubhouse (9640 Brooks Rd. South, Windsor) and features crab, salad, pasta, bread, live and silent auctions, a no-host bar, a DJ and dancing. Cost is $50 per person; for tickets, call 245-4117.

The Children’s Diabetes Foundation of the North Bay hosts its Crab Feed and Clam Pasta Dinner on Saturday at the Petaluma Community Center (320 North McDowell Blvd., Petaluma). The evening begins with no-host cocktails at 6 p.m. with dinner following at 7 p.m. There will be live and silent auctions, music, dancing and as much crab as you can eat. Cost is $45 per person. Finally, the Dunham Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization hosts its sixth annual crab feed, also on Saturday, at Hermann Sons Hall (860 Western Ave., Petaluma). The evening begins with cocktails at 5:30, dinner at 6:30 p.m. and an auction following dinner. This is a fairly small event so if it is your crab-feed of choice, visit dunhamsd.org for tickets, $45 each, right away.
