This Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Sonoma County Wine Library (139 Piper St., Headsburg) hosts a sale of new and used books on topics that range from the wine business, wine tasting and wine history to enology, viticulture, cooking, home winemaking and more, along with some rare treasures.

Among the treasures are early Harvest Fair posters. The oldest are apparently from 1979 and 1983, both unsigned. Michele Collier’s 1984 and 1988 posts are available and two of them are signed by the artist. The 1994 “Taste of Gold” poster and posters from 1995 (by Sally Sataldo), 1996 (also by Sally Sataldo) and 1998 (by Norman Gaddini) are also available.

My favorite, which in this photo shows no date, is rare and one I would love to own.  If you get it, big congratulations to you.
