There's a new farmers market in Santa Rosa, in Oakmont on Tuesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. This seasonal market, which runs from early June through the end of September, provides both fresh produce for mid-week stocking up and a gathering place for friends and neighbors.
In mid-summer, the Sebastopol farmers market is thriving, though we'll have to wait a bit longer for the best local tomatoes, peppers and eggplant. And part of the charm of this market is the one-of-a-kind-only-in-west-county moments it offers.
