It’s a Third Thursday and that means there’s a special Visiting Chefs Dinner at Worth Our Weight Culinary Apprenticeship Program (1021 Hahman Dr., Santa Rosa). Tonight’s dinner features three chefs, all graduates of the apprenticeship program.

There are a few seats left and you can snag one if you hurry and call 544-1200.

Cost is $75 per person, which includes tax, gratuity, and beverages. If you’ve never been to one of these evenings, tonight is a great time to check it out.

Most of the ingredients for the meal are donated and all proceeds go directly to the program, which offers free training in all aspects of restaurant operations to underserved youth aged 16 to 24, under the direction of Chef Evelyn Cheatham, founder and executive director.
