For the love of traditional tacos

If you've read my columns over the years, you know I love traditional tacos. The simplicity of tender corn tortillas holding delicious morsels of perfectly seasoned foods cannot be improved. They are also remarkable simply to make at home, especially if you keep tortillas, cilantro and hot sauce on hand.

Fresh From Our Farmers: Buddy’s Farm, Goldie’s Best eggs

Today, Leuschen cares for a flock of about 800 birds, nearly two dozen of which are roosters. Currently, the hens are producing about 30 dozen fertile eggs a day. By the end of summer, when some of the younger birds come into production, there will be about 40 dozen a day. The eggs are sold direct to customers from the farm.
