Michele Anna Jordan has written more than twenty books, including the highly acclaimed Vinaigrettes and Other Dressings and California Home Cooking and the 2015 series, The Good Cook's Books (of Tomatoes; of Mustard; of Salt & Pepper; of Oil & Vinegar and A Food Lover's Journal). She has received numerous awards, among them a James Beard Award for Magazine Feature Writing and a Sonoma County Best Chef award; she is a four-time nominee for the James Beard Electronic Media Award for her radio show, Mouthful, the Wine Country’s Most Delicious Hour, which she both produces and hosts on KRCB-FM. She writes four weekly columns for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat and also writes for Sonoma magazine. She lives in Sebastopol with her two black cats, Poe and Rosemary, and two miniature longhaired dachshunds, Joey and Lark.
